Art is my form of communicatioN.
When we are unable to express ourselves we feel frustrated, anxious and misunderstood. All this pent-up emotion needs to be unleashed and channelled into something.
My journey with art began as a necessary way for me to communicate as a child. What started as a key tool soon became a passion that fed into my mantra.
Throw your emotions onto the canvas and not onto each other.

MY SIDE OF
Hi! My name is Aiden Lee, I am an abstract painter and human advocate that was born with Autism, ADHD and anxiety.
This does not define me but instead adds colour to my already chromatic world.
I use mixed mediums to unleash my world on those who visually consume my work from my side of the spectrum and strive to inspire and advocate for positive change.
LEAF FOR LIFE
I am so honoured to be joining other local artists in a huge city-wide fundraiser for Joseph Brant Hospital by auctioning an original art piece on a 4’ outdoor canvas in the shape of a leaf.
I will be using my side of the spectrum to influence and shape my piece and show off the beauty of the natural world.
Burlington Artscape will be displaying these pieces at outdoor art weekends in August for the community to enjoy and order.
That’s right! You can own one of these stunning creations and support a good cause!
ART FOR ACTION
Like so many, I was deeply hurt by the uncovering of the 215 bones of children buried underneath the residential school in BC.
From the beautiful memorial and vigil in Hamilton for the 215 children, I created the - Twin Guardians which is a part of the ‘Children Of The Earth’ series I am working on.
I will be auctioning these dynamic pieces in support of the Mohawk Institute Residential School, and its development into an Interpreted Historic Site and Educational Resource with the "Save the Evidence" campaign.
